Liability covers the loss of parcels caused by MPS Express in the following cases:

• - loss of parcels at the warehouse in China;
• - loss during road transportation to or from airports;
• - loss at transit warehouses.

Compensation is based on the value stated in the applications. If goods are lost by the airline, compensation is up to $20 per 1 kg. The customer may increase the compensation amount by purchasing additional insurance.

Parcels may be inspected by customs authorities in China, Ukraine, and transit countries. If goods bearing trademarks or marks protected by intellectual property laws in these countries are found, fines may be imposed and/or the goods may be seized without supporting documents being provided. MPS Express is not liable for such cases.

MPS Express is not liable for delivery delays caused by customs inspections.

If parcels are delayed or confiscated by customs authorities, or if additional customs charges are imposed, MPS Express does not reimburse these costs.

When the Security insurance service is selected, MPS Express assumes additional liability for the loss of parcels in Ukraine and China for any reason, except where the parcel contents do not match the information declared before shipment, prohibited goods are shipped, or loss results from disasters, natural hazards, or military action.

The Security service requires mandatory insurance equal to 3% of the value of the goods, but not less than US $1 per 1 kg of weight.

Delivery delays caused by customs inspections in transit countries, China, or Ukraine are not considered parcel loss, and MPS Express is not liable for such cases. If a customs-related delay lasts 2.5 months and the goods are located in Europe or Ukraine, the terms and possibility of returning the goods to China or handing them over to the customer in Europe may be agreed upon at the customer's request.

We ship parcels in the packaging and condition in which they arrive at our warehouse. Liability for damage to goods or their original packaging is accepted only if a preliminary inspection and the Safe Packaging service were ordered. The cost of Safe Packaging depends on the goods, their weight, and the existing packaging, and is assessed individually.

Depending on the tariff or type of goods, MPS Express may require payment for transportation before the parcels arrive in Europe.

If the quality of the original packaging needs to be checked, notify us in advance. We will inspect the goods at the warehouse in China and agree the shipping terms with you to prevent damage. Please note that inspection, approval, and packaging corrections will increase the final delivery time.

If no advance notice is provided and packaging and goods protection recommendations are not followed, we are not liable for damage occurring during transportation.

As part of additional services, packaging may be removed only under the following conditions: branded packaging must not be removed from leather footwear (sandals, shoes, boots, leather sneakers, etc.) in order to preserve the product's appearance and prevent damage. Branded packaging must not be removed from structured leather bags in order to avoid deformation or damage. Outer and branded packaging may be removed from fabric bags, sports bags, and sneakers.

If the value of the goods exceeds $20 per 1 kg, proof of payment matching the declared value is required. MPS Express may request additional information to verify the value where payment was made by someone other than the customer or parcel recipient, or where the amount or payment method does not confirm that the payment relates to those goods. Deliberately or mistakenly overstated values are not accepted for compensation. In such cases, compensation will not exceed $20 per 1 kg and may be lower based on the market value of the goods.

Providing false information about parcel declarants or recipients, being unable to verify them, or being unable to provide their documents is considered the provision of false information. Loss of parcels for these reasons is not an insured event and is not compensated.
